Trump Conception is a ten member groove orchestra that plays at the borders of jazz, funk and jazzrock. They perform Janno Trump’s compositions. The band was formed by Trump in spring 2015. They have since released two albums, “One” (2016) and (2017). Trump Conception, with its big band sound and high musical energy, is considered to be one of the strongest ensembles in the Baltic jazz scene. They have been nominated for the “Jazz Ensemble of the Year” award in Estonia every year since 2016. Trump Conception has been a part of various jazz festivals across Estonia, including Jazzkaar, Soru Jazz and Sillamae Jazz Times as well as Saulkrasti Jazz Festival and Klaipeda Jazz Festival.
