Turning Point

Turning Point was a UK fusion band that formed in the late 1970s. Jeff Clyne (bass), and Brian Miller (keyboards), both of whom had previously performed together in Isotope and Pepi lemer (wordless vocals), formed the band. David Tidball (saxes), and Paul Robinson (drums) were also part of the band. Both Creatures of the Night (1977), and Silent Promise (1978) were recorded by the band on the Gull label. They toured the UK and supported National Health in 1977. Allan Holdsworth and Neil Ardley were their final stops in 1980. P. Lemer, Pete’s then-wife and later divorcee, went on to be a vocal coach. She also worked with The Spice Girls. Robinson worked later with Nina Simone. Miller was involved in the musical Cats for many years. From Wikipedia
