Twenty-Five Views of Worthing was formed by Watford friends Roger Hillier, Mark Sugden and their Primrose Path psychedelic band. In 1972, they were signed to Island Artists’ management agreement. They supported the likes Genesis, Caravan, and Mott the Hoople. However, a recording deal with Island Records was never made. The band recorded several songs at Island’s Basing Street Studio during downtime, which were never released before. The band continued with different line-ups through the ’70s and also released a rare, independent EP in 1977. Their music mixes the Canterbury sound with art-rock elements. It is highly recommended for Hatfield, Egg, Caravan and Egg fans.
