United Vibrations is comprised of Kareem and Yussef Dayes, as well as Wayne Francis II. It’s jazz, but not as we know. United Vibrations are loosely classified as punk-afrojazz. They draw musical inspiration from a wide range of sources, including Weather Report, John Coltrane, Weather Report, and Fela Kuti. They have been a powerful musical force since their inception in the early 2010s. Their fans include Gilles Peterson and Theo Parrish, as well as Jamie Cullum, Tony Allen, and Tony Allen. Their sound is described as “12tone”, an extension of 2tone music that combines ska and punk with a healthy dose of myriad sonic flavors. Their most recent album, The Myth of the Golden Ratio is undoubtedly their best to date. It has taken them all over the globe and seen them perform on various stages and festivals, including Outlook, Dimensons and the World Music Expo in Spain. From www.mmagazine.co.uk
