Vitor Pereira was born 1979 in Porto (Portugal), and he graduated in classical guitar in 2003. He became interested in Jazz when he participated in workshops, private lessons, and seminars all over Europe with people such as Pat Metheny and Gilad Hekselman and Aaron Goldberg. He also met many other jazz musicians, including Perico Sambeat and Matt Penman. In 2004, he moved to London to complete a BA Hons in Jazz under the tutelage of Chris Batchelor, Chris Outram, Nikki Illes, and Stuart Hall. Vitor, a London resident, has been an active musician throughout Europe, the UK and Portugal since 2004. He played alongside such musicians as James Allsopp (Marc Demuth), Dave Smith, Will Collier, Will Collier, Asaf Sirkis, Andre Canniere, Will Collier, Will Collier, and others. His name was recognized as a leader by the international jazz community when he released his first album ‘Doors” on ‘FIRE Presents’.
