Wayne Tucker

Wayne Tucker is a 29 year old Trumpet player/Composer/Arranger/Actor based in New York City. Under the guidance of Todd Coolman, he is a 2009 Jazz Studies graduate at SUNY Purchase. Wayne has performed with many of the current Jazz stars, including Dee Dee Bridgewater, Kurt Elling and Cyrille Aimee. He also played with pop stars such as Taylor Swift, Elvis Costello and Matt Simons. He has performed at some the most prestigious venues in the world, including Madison Square Garden and The Hollywood Bowl, Avery Fisher Hall as well as The Apollo Theatre, The Ravinia Festival, The Kennedy Center, The Apollo Theatre, The Apollo Theatre, The Ravinia Festival, and The Hollywood Bowl. He has appeared on TV shows such as America’s Got Talent and Jimmy Kimmel. He also wrote the score and played the role of the lead male in Hotel Bleu.
