Wiebelfetzer

It all began at the “Weisser Wind”, Zurich in April 1971. The whole night of the 27th was filled with seven Swiss, three Danes and an American, all trying new sounds and melodies for jazz lovers. It is simply amazing, brilliant, and beyond time! This session will never be forgotten, because these sounds, more than music, transport you to another place, which allows for a long inner mediation. You can call it experimental jazz/rock or free, but it is not properly classified. This dense album is a chronological history music. You can listen to it 100 times and still find new things. It’s a refined and subtle blend of Stravinski and Miles Davis, especially Bitches Brew, that I find appealing after a few listens. It makes me think of “Shining”, the creepy OST. from http://williamtellsguitar.blogspot.com
