Ali Jackson (USA – drums Omer Avil (ISR)- double bass Aaron Goldberg(USA)-piano Bound by twenty-five years of friendship, Ali Jackson, Omer Avital, and Aaron Goldberg, three jazz masters with an incredible amount of experience, including credits that range from Wynton Marsalis, Joshua Redman, and Kurt Rosenwinkel, they have released their second joint studio album “Groove du Jour”. They met while studying at the New School of Jazz, New York. Now they look back on over two decades of music making together. “We came together to share our knowledge, play together, and encourage and inspire one another. We can now spontaneously take part in the archetype jazz because we are connected by our experience and aware of it. Because this is the future of jazz, we want to bring together the sounds of jazz’s roots and the present. This all-star trio is vibrant and exhilarating.
