uji MUTO & Nana OMORI were founded in 2020 as Yuji’s third free / improvisational jazz project. The pianist Nana OMORI has learned comtemporary music in her young days and played with lots of session artists mainly in US and Japan. On August 22th, 2020, under the pandemic situation, Yuji and Nana recorded material at Jazz Club Intersat (Nagoya, Japan) for their live album “Vale Tudo” (in Portuguese, Anything Alright), that was finally released on January 16, 2021, via Bomba Records.
